Crondon Park Estate

Our History

Crondon Park Estate was originally a working farm. It was purchased from the previous owner Robert Orr in March 1990. After several years of development, Crondon Park Golf Club opened on the 31st of May 1994. There was a queue waiting to tee off and Arthur Jenner paid his £10.00 green fee and was the first player to officially hit a golf ball from the first tee at 5am. Over the years we have staged several very prestigious golf tournaments, including Royal Variety Club charity events with well-known celebrities and PGA tournaments.

Crondon Park boast the longest closing golf hole in the world and considered by many to be a formidable golf challenge for all standards of play. We are constantly making improvements to the complex year on year. Although proprietary owned, we have the atmosphere of a member’s club. The courses have improved beyond recognition in the past twenty-five years; although delighted with the progress, we strive for perfection. Our Head Greenkeeper Stewart Rogers and his enhanced team have made Crondon one of the finest Golf Courses in the County.
